The Lethbridge Independent Film Society, in partnership with Arts Marvels and Screen Lethbridge, is thrilled to announce "Between Takes: Where Film People Meet," an evening dedicated to celebrating local cinema and fostering meaningful industry connections.

About the Event
Hosted by MC Aziz Sani, "Between Takes" is not just a film screening; it is a structured networking hub. The night kicks off with a retrospective of the grueling and brilliant works produced during this past year’s 48-Hour Film Challenge. Following the films, attendees will engage in an hour of intentional, facilitated networking using a unique color-coded tag system (Green for Hiring/Open to Work, Yellow for Connecting, Red for Spectators), eliminating the awkwardness of traditional networking.
"We want to remove the guesswork from building a crew, locking a location or finding your next gig in Lethbridge," says Nick Bohle, Treasurer and Event Coordinator for the Lethbridge Independent Film Society. "'Between Takes' is about bringing local talent, businesses, and film-adjacent stakeholders into one room to see what we can build together."
